Chattanooga Top City for Moving & Quality Living

Chattanooga has consistently ranked among the top 10 destination cities for people moving over the last several years, including in reports such as U-Haul’s tracking of where people are loading up and moving to. Tennessee as a whole continues to experience population growth. One factor attracting people is the absence of a state income tax in Tennessee. Chattanooga also offers quality-of-life advantages that differ from those found in larger cities like Atlanta or Nashville.

I think those are just some solid numbers that we continue to see here. The last handful of years, Chattanooga has always appeared on top 10 cities, destinations, people moving the U-Haul report, where are people loading up and moving to? And Tennessee is still growing.
Tyler Schuetze (00:17):
Yeah. And I think you’ve got the benefit of the no state income tax, right? But then you have some quality of life components in Chattanooga that you referenced earlier are different than a bigger city like Atlanta or Nashville.
