From our Founder/CEO: As my dad, William “Bill” Schuetze heads to Monroe, Wisconsin–the land of my American ancestry and their annual celebration of cheese, Cheese Days, it’s appropriate we celebrate my ancestry’s character trait of profound stubbornness with a Words that Work Double Play.

For the unfamiliar, Swiss stubbornness is not your garden-level defiance but rather a world-class unwillingness to budge. Think of an immobile donkey and you are close.

For a spouse it can be a bit of a challenge. (On a related note, I’ve nominated my wife Erin Schuetze for sainthood in every life I have known her!)

In business, this character trait can be the difference between total abject failure and unimaginable success.

There are few traits I admire more than persistence. I truly believe it is required in our long journey of life.

The late great Nipsey Hussle said in reference to life: The Marathon Continues.

I interpret Nipsey’s words as a demand to keep going.

As the Next Do Good Day approaches on 9/19, I see a stark reminder to keep going and Do Good to celebrate the Life of my late sister Laura Schuetze,

As a force for good, Laura was better than me in every way.

By running the marathon in any and every way, every day, I hope Laura will be proud of me when I see her again.
