From a Conference Connection to Property Management Collaboration:

Our Journey and an Exciting New Acquisition in the Great State of Texas!

This week’s blog post was written by our Director of Business Development, Alex Becker, and our Dallas and Kansas City Market Director, Brandie Mejia.

Last week marked an incredible milestone for our team, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the experience with you. It all started on the Friday before the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) National Conference in Dallas, Texas — a city full of energy, growth, and industry expertise.

This wasn’t just any ordinary Friday. It was the day we officially closed on our latest acquisition — a property management company led by an industry and market leader — right here in Dallas. What made this moment even more meaningful is that it happened just days prior to the kick off of the NARPM National Conference, which was held in the same city. If you believe in perfect timing, this was it.

One of our key goals with this acquisition was to form a strategic partnership with the seller, someone who not only knows the residential rental market in Dallas and Fort Worth inside and out but has been a respected leader in the property management industry for years. This isn’t just a business transaction — it’s a collaboration rooted in shared values and the desire to elevate the field for residents, owners and the community.

What makes this journey even more meaningful is the full-circle moment it represents. Our team first met the seller at a NARPM National event earlier this year, and now, here we are closing the deal at another NARPM National Conference. The timing couldn’t have been better, and it serves as a testament to the power of connection and collaboration within this amazing community of property management professionals.

As I reflect on the last few days, I’m reminded that the property management industry thrives on relationships, both new and old. Whether it’s through learning from peers or working closely with a strategic partner like the one we’ve just acquired, it’s these relationships that make our industry dynamic and rewarding.

We look forward to the growth and opportunities that this partnership will bring, and we can’t wait to share more updates with you soon. Until then, here’s to perfect timing, strategic collaboration, and the endless possibilities ahead.
