When I started Auben Realty in 2009, I didn’t realize how many times I was going to fail. The sheer volume for any entrepreneur is dizzying and disorienting.

As I began to experience the issues most new business owners encounter, I knew I had to translate the issues into positives. So, failure became learning. Struggles became lessons. L’s became wins. And the Auben culture was created.

For this week’s real estate news words, we go (back) to internet pioneer, Tim Berners-Lee to reference the power of collective shared knowledge:

“When I proposed the web in 1989, the driving force I had in mind was communication through shared knowledge…This would give people in a group a new power to build something together.”

Lee’s words about the benefit of shared knowledge for building may be most impactful when connected to team/collective struggles (aka failures) as Milwaukee Bucks power forward, Giannis “Greek Freak” Antetokounmpo says in his passionate interview below:
