Q: When did you start investing?

A: My wife, Leslie, and I bought our first rental property in 2019, but it really started with the purchase of our primary residence in 2014.  Our home appreciated 150% in five years which paved the way for a HELOC which gave us the cash to start investing.

Q: Why do you Invest?

Q: Is there a place for you where time slows down?

A: Early morning before my family is awake and I can read or study.

Q: If you were a member of a music group, it would be _________?

A: Keith & Kristyn Getty’s band

Q: I was introduced to Auben ______.

A: When we were looking for our first rental property, we literally Googled best markets for investing in rental properties. Augusta.  Then we literally Googled best real estate companies in Augusta. Auben. ‘Nuff said!

Q: If you weren’t investing in real estate you would be_______.

A: Probably floundering around in the stock market.

Q: If you were to start over_______.

A: I’d invest in multi-family syndications sooner, start a Qualified Retirement Program sooner, and have kids sooner!
