Introducing Lucas Ford
Auben is thrilled to introduce Lucas Ford, our new Acquisition Manager at Auben Capital Partners. With 9 years of experience in Real Estate Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Product Management, Lucas brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Asset Management team.
Lucas completed his BS in Mathematics and Economics at the University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also holds certifications as a Scrum Product Owner and in Real Estate Financial Modeling in Excel. His dedication to continuous learning and growth aligns perfectly with our values at Auben.
As an expert in real estate acquisitions, Lucas will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic investment opportunities for Auben Capital Partners. His extensive experience in property management, along with a strong background in prop tech, data analysis and financial modeling, positions him to drive the expansion of Auben’s investment portfolio.
Lucas’s expertise will directly benefit Auben Capital Partners by enabling the identification of high-potential properties and streamlining our data management strategy and acquisition process. His proficiency in asset management and product management will contribute to maximizing returns on investment and ensuring the overall success of our team’s vision and expansion.
One of the reasons Lucas was drawn to Auben is our vibrant company culture that fosters personal and professional development. He believes that success in business stems from a positive and transparent environment, where each team member is empowered to take ownership of their responsibilities. Lucas’s vision of driving progress aligns seamlessly with our commitment to excellence.
In addition to his professional aspirations, Lucas finds inspiration in the simple things in life. He cherishes moments with friends and family and is dedicated to being the best version of himself. Lucas’s commitment to personal growth is driven by his desire to give back to his community, a goal that resonates deeply with Auben’s values of Improving People, Places and Properties.
Outside of work, Lucas enjoys being outdoors, sports, and is an avid music fan. He engages in the live music scene in his hometown of Charleston whenever possible, as well as learning songs and playing himself on the guitar.
We are excited to welcome Lucas to the Auben family and look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly have on our team and the communities we serve.
Fun Facts:
Spouse, Kids, Fur Babies
I’m happily married to my wife, Maura, of 4 years. No kids, but we are both dog lovers. Our fur babies are Presley and Luna.
Favorite Book and/or Podcast
I’m a big fan of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series and constantly frustrated by the author’s inability to finish it!
My favorite podcast is easily “Freakonomics” (the book is fun as well), for keeping up with current Economic research and trends.
If you were any color crayon what color would you be and why?
I’ll keep it simple here and answer “garnet,” I’m a Gamecock ’til I die.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I’ll refer back to my aspirations to one day start a business of my own. Ideally in an area that can have a maximal, positive impact in my community.
